Menu Plan Monday





Monday ~ Grilled Pork Chops / Rice / Butter Beans
Tuesday ~ Grilled Hamburgers / Baked French Fries
Wednesday ~ Ribs / mashed Potatoes / Steamed Veggies
Thursday ~ Grilled Chicken / Green Beans / Rice
Friday ~ BLT's / Chips / Grape Salad**
Saturday ~ Party Food (it's Emily's graduation party)
Sunday ~ Eat Out

**Grape Salad
(this is the recipe that I made and took to our church picnic this weekend - it is delicious)
2 cups green grapes
2 cups red grapes
1 (8oz.) package of Cool Whip
1 (4oz.) package of cream cheese
1 (4oz.) package of sour cream
4 tablespoons of light brown sugar
slivered almonds (toasted at 350 degrees for 15 minutes)
Cream the sour cream, cream cheese and brown sugar. Add grapes. Fold in the Cool Whip and almonds.
That's the original recipe. I made it according to the recipe, but next time I think I'll add the cool whip into the sour cream mixture and I will not use all of the cool whip. The whole package of cool whip over powered the cream cheese flavor.
If you make if with fat free cool whip and cream cheese and Splenda brown sugar it really isn't bad for you and it taste just as good.
