Fit4Life - Week 8

Gosh, Friday again, already?!?! This has been a crazy week. I'm still getting settled into my new job and Jay and I are still getting acclimated to having Sassy in our lives. Wow, Sassy is the best preparation for a baby without the real thing. We've been getting up at least 2 time during the night to let her go potty, which leads to her getting good and awake and up for some play time. And if you don't let her play and "wind" down, she screams from her kennel. However, she slept thru the WHOLE night last night, YAY!!!! When our alarm clock went off this morning Jay said "Did you get up last night?" "No, did you" "No" then we rejoiced by sleeping another 10 minutes...
Ok, on to my weekly results:
Week 8 Stats:
Starting weight 6/1/07: 175 lbs.
Current Weight: 161.8lbs.
Weekly change: -1.6lbs.
Total loss: 12.4lbs.
Goal weight: 145 lbs.
I didn't lose much this week, just 1.6 pounds, but that does get me back down to my low several weeks ago. I hope this is a beginning of a trend!!

Weight Loss Goals:

  • Back to drinking at least 48 oz. of water a day
  • Get back to journaling and counting points
  • Gym - Go 3 times
  • Lose 2 pounds (this will get me below the 1/2 way point!!!!)
  • Watch portion size

I'm pretty much keeping the same goals for this next week for weight loss, I didn't do well with them this past week.

Better Me Goals:
  • Continue DAILY devotions (get up before work and start the day with devotions)
  • Back to chore routine (a few things a night, don't let it all pile up)
  • Get back on board with the budget and tracking expenses (this kind of fell by the waste-side this week, as I've struggled to keep my head above water with the new work hours and Miss Sassy).
I hope each of you have a wonderful and healthy weekend.
Stop over at Deedra's (she's the host of Fit4Life Friday) and check out her exciting news and her NEW goals for the next 9 months or so.

See- Aunt Emily needs to come play with the baby more and she'll sleep better!!! Way to go on the weight loss- I could really tell that you've lost weight...that's the most rewarding part of the whole deal. I hope you have a great weekend- I'm glad that your new job is working out so well.

I came to your blog via Annie's. Well done with your weight loss. It really is a journey isn't it and then other things start to happen from there...for me being disciplined not only with eating, exercise, but bible reading too. I have lost 49lb this year, and have 4 more lb to go. This last 4 don't seem to keen to shift, so I think it's time to mix up the exercise routine and programme to get things shifting again.
